    On Friday, 3rd of October, the Academic Affairs Department and English Language Department organised a test briefing for Junior 1 and 2 students to prepare them for the upcoming English Listening Tests conducted in the school hall on the following Tuesday, 7th of October.

    Before conducting the briefing, the head of the Academic Affairs Department, Mr Lee Chong Aik, gave advice and words of encouragement to the students. The briefing session, conducted by Ms Chong Jia Xin, provided essential information and preparation for the tests. The Assistant Head of English Language Department, Ms Thenmoley, and all Junior English teachers were present to ensure the students were listening diligently to the briefing.

At the end of the briefing, students were given a reminder of the tests:
- To prepare stationery needed (a 5B pencil and an eraser)
- To be punctual on the day of the test
- To read the test instructions carefully
- To check and revise the listening audios posted on the Google Classroom

    As the briefing came to a wrap, students were reminded to revise for the listening tests through the scripts and audios posted on their respective Google Classrooms. Besides that, the briefing reminded all students to read the test paper instructions carefully and complete all parts of the test. Students were also told to do their best as the marks contributed to their overall English marks.

    At the end of the briefing, all students understood all the preparations needed for the test. The English Language Department concluded the briefing with confidence that the students would do well in the upcoming tests.
