Teachers, particularly Ms Chong Jia Xin and Ms Cho Yin Yin, together with the Academic Department of Chung Hua High School Klang, led by Mr Lee Chong Aik, have been making thorough preparations to welcome a delegation of educators and students from Taipei Municipal Minquan Junior High School. The delegation will arrive in Malaysia on 6 July 2026 as part of an English Learning and Educational Exchange Programme initiated by the Taipei local government to provide students with valuable international exposure. Chung Hua High School Klang is deeply honoured to be part of this meaningful initiative.
All English teachers actively participated in the training by observing the lesson and providing immediate, constructive feedback. The session also gave participating students firsthand experience of the planned classroom activities, enabling them to better understand the lesson's expectations and learning objectives.

The lesson centred on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Below Water, encouraging students to explore the threats facing oceans and marine ecosystems while identifying practical solutions to address these environmental challenges. A variety of engaging teaching strategies were incorporated, including group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, brainstorming, as well as skimming and scanning activities to strengthen reading comprehension and critical-thinking skills.
Throughout the training, the students demonstrated enthusiasm and active participation. They responded confidently to questions, contributed thoughtful ideas during discussions, and cooperated fully throughout the activities, making the rehearsal both productive and encouraging. The successful training session has further strengthened the school’s readiness to host the upcoming international exchange programme and showcase the high standards of teaching and learning at Chung Hua High School Klang.
