A 90-minute workshop on SPM Paper 3: Oral Test was held on 19th September 2026 to help students gain a clearer understanding of the format, procedures and strategies needed to perform confidently.

    We invited Mr Richard William, who is currently teaching in SMK Shahbandaraya, to share his decades of experience in teaching and conduct the workshop. He guided students through the various stages and flow of the assessment, explaining what candidates could expect on the actual day as well as highlighting key points they should take note of during each stage.

    Mr Richard also shared practical tips on how to communicate confidently and effectively. His advice gave students useful strategies for preparing themselves and avoiding common mistakes.

    A highlight of the workshop was the demonstration of the setting and assessment process. Through the demonstration, students were able to visualise the actual environment and become more familiar with how the session would be conducted.

    Throughout the workshop, the students remained attentive and engaged. Their positive response reflected their eagerness to understand the requirements and prepare themselves adequately.

    The session provided valuable guidance and practical exposure, giving students greater confidence as they prepare for SPM Paper 3: Oral Test.
