Initiated by the United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, our students took part in the 11th Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan Independent Chinese Secondary Schools English Forum Competition on 16 August 2025, Saturday, at Kuen Cheng High School Auditorium, and they received an Encouragement Award for their performance.
Fam Chi Xun (S2ST):
It was a memorable experience that deepened my leadership skills, highlighted cooperation and encouragement, improved communication and strengthened calmness under pressure.
Haw Ceng Hon (S2AJ):
The competition revealed true teamwork, teachers’ guidance and self-improvement, offering growth, learning from others and lasting gratitude.
Shim Huan Boon (S2ST):
Intense preparation and shared strengths helped us overcome stage pressure, turning growth, resilience and teamwork into our greatest reward.
Leow Yanyi (S2AJ):
My first forum taught confident speaking despite challenges, with teachers’ support, new friendships and treasured memories making the experience truly worthwhile.
Tan Yong Jun (S2ST):
Grateful for this first forum experience, I gained new vocabulary, speech skills, friendships and insight into teamwork, cherishing teachers’ support and patience.
